AI Applications in Business is a textbook for the BEX3202 unit at Monash University Malaysia. It covers the conceptual foundations of enterprise AI, sector-by-sector applications, governance frameworks, and a hands-on venture-building track from idea through to commercialisation.

The book is organised in two parts. Part I builds the analytical foundation: the historical eras of AI adoption, the economic logic of AI-enabled operations, sector deep-dives across finance, healthcare, retail, manufacturing, and beyond, and the governance and labour-market implications that shape every deployment decision. Part II shifts to practice: working through the full arc of building an AI venture — from identifying a real customer pain, through MVP design and low-code prototyping, to alpha/beta testing, pricing, go-to-market strategy, and investor pitching.

Each chapter opens with a framing question and closes with synthesis points and discussion prompts suitable for seminar use.
